Imani house of Fashion

Liz Ogumbo is a fashion designer, a singer and a model.
Like Severine Devailly, she usually models her own clothes: when you are that hot, why shouldn't you?

I like her brilliant colourful collection. Last year, her colour theme was black, red and white and orange and white. Few dresses are imposing their pouffy shoulders a bit too much but i generally like it. It is flirty and has a great vibe about it.

Liz Ogumbo launched her collection at the Arise Africa fashion Week, may i just say: wow! You go girl! She was apparently not present at this year Fashion Week but i hope she is preparing an even more colourful collection for next year.

There is no update on the diva's website regarding any new collection but i sure can't wait to see it.

Lovely Ki2

I am not talking about Killer Instict game or a Mistubishi! I am talking about the fashion label KI2 by Rachel Mutindi.

Rachael is an up coming fashion designer, with vibrant ideas and creativity.
From an humble background in the Kenyan countryside, she uses her raw and extremely personalized vision of fashion to express a growing emotion of vibrance, simplicity and elegance.
Her designs represent her strong intention to bring fashion for all ages, colours and pockets coupled with a strong attention to ethical principles.

She is then one of Lalesso's competitor. They are both using khangas, promoting fair trading and Kenya. Great stuff for Africa.
I love her collection, it is very colourful and original. I like the way she plays with very bright colours, unlike Lalesso.
There is a fantastic mix of orange and green i particular enjoy: it is very sexy and celebrates Africa.
